HEADCHECK & Western International Junior Hockey League – Enhancing Concussion Management with Technology
The Western International Junior Hockey League will utilize the HEADCHECK Health digital platform for concussion management to deliver our high standard of concussion care. Established in 2013 from a concussion research lab, HEADCHECK was created to address a critical challenge: the complexity of implementing concussion protocols.
Since its inception, HEADCHECK’s digital platform has been embraced by thousands of organizations and their expert medical personnel, including TBI Diagnostic Centers of Georgia. MLS, the CFL, USA Cycling and Dunedin Phoenix-Thunder in New Zealand. Notably, HEADCHECK has been relied on in some of the world’s most prestigious sporting events, including the Olympics and Tour de France.
HEADCHECK has worked with the Concussion in Sport Group (CISG) to include officially approved digital SCAT6® tools to enhance concussion management. In addition, HEADCHECK can be customized to any protocol requirements and solves the operational challenges of effective concussion management.
