Logan Styler Signs with Selkirk Saints; Scores in Debut

2016-17 KIJHL’s leading scorer Logan Styler signed with the Selkirk Saints on the weekend, scoring on the power play in his debut. Logan Styler led the Castlegar Rebels and league last year with 80 points in 45 games. He was acquired last season in a trade during the 2016 off season with the Creston Valley Thunder Cats.In two stint with the Cats he amassed 107 points in 83 games, giving him a KIJHL total of 187 points in 127 games.

Rebels Head Coach Bill Rotheisler commented

Styler has produced at literally every level and team he has been a part of, proving that he can show value in any environment he is in.  You see lots of guys have success under the right conditions, well this guy can drive in any weather. We aggressively went after him in a trade last off season because we believe in this guy's ability to be a key player absolutely anywhere.

Rotheisler also coached him the previous season in Creston.

In addition to his time in the KIJHL, he also amassed 40 points in 59 games at the junior A level and 78 points in 73 games int he BC Major Midget League.
