The B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League announced its league award winners for the 2021-22 season on April 29. Several Kootenay International Junior Hockey League alumni were recognized.
Second Team All-Stars

Garrett Hilton (100 Mile House Wranglers) SFU (12GP, 10G, 7A, 17 PTS)
Brock Palmer (Kimberley Dynamiters) VIU (12GP, 10G, 8A, 18 PTS)
Michael Lenko (Revelstoke Grizzlies/Sicamous Eagles) SFU (6GP, 6W, 2.00 GAA .948 SP)
Kelowna Chiefs broadcaster Justin McCartney was named the Broadcaster of the Year as he was the Broadcast Co-ordinator for the Okanagan Lakers.
KIJHL alumni also received individual awards. Bergh was named the Most Sportsmanlike Player as he had two penalty minutes on the season.
Former KIJHL MVP Brock Palmer was named the Rookie of the Year.
The Goaltender of the Year went to Lenko, who capped off his BCIHL career with a .945 SP with six wins and two shutouts.
One of two MVP awards went to Hilton, who had five game-winning goals for SFU and averaged 1.3 points per game over 20 games.
